Meet sweet baby Emma!! In November I got the call that this sweet girl was born and we knew we wanted her pictures taken right away so we set the date. She was just a 5 days old and was so precious!! I adore this family and have loved getting to watch her big sister grow, and what a great big sister she is! 
On July 23rd I was able to spend a lovely Summer evening with this family of boys. They were so well behaved and made my job super easy! The colors were beautiful and the light was making me so happy! 
This weeks IHF challenge is WHITE!!! I knew I had to do this photo of Maddie. Her baptism photo shoot is one of my favorite shoots ever! I loved the white dress, the clear sky and her bright eyes that helped this photo be a stand out!
This weeks IHF theme is Props! I LOVE props.. love doing infant/toddler photography with props BUT I like to keep it simple and just use a basket, bowl, chair etc. I dont like to clutter a photograph, I feel like the prop is to enhance the subject and not the other way around and all to often in photography I am more drawn to the props which is backwards to me!
This was taken at our friends cabin this week while we were visiting. It was incredible to be surrounded by such beauty and to wake up to that view every morning was amazing! I was excited to see MCP's theme this week and knew instantly I would submit this photo. I love the dark cabin and smooth lake and the distant bridge and tree scenery.. love!
I think this is one of my all time favorite sessions ever! First of all it was just them just a couple session which I have been wanting to do forever! And it was with super fun people and the setting was so fun, it just made for a really great time! AND I love love these photos!
When I saw the word whimsical I knew exactly which session I had to go revisit! In a word when describing what this session was supposed to be was "whimsical" and there were so many pictures to choose from, but I love this one because they are truly having this (what seemed annoying at first) fun moment of ring around the rosies and I was so happy to have caught every ones body and at least a glimpse of every ones face in this photo! With the lake in the back ground and the soft light we had this was very whimsical to me.
